Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the HAULR mobile application ("App") operated by HAULR ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) to use HAULR. By creating an account, you represent that you are a licensed commercial motor vehicle operator or authorized representative of a motor carrier.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information, including a valid USDOT number.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of FMCSA regulations.
• Upload fraudulent, falsified, or misleading documents.
• Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures.
• Use the App while operating a commercial motor vehicle (use only when safely parked).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

4. Data Accuracy

HAULR provides tools for managing loads, compliance documents, and financial data. While we strive for accuracy:

• AI-powered document analysis may contain errors. Always verify extracted data before relying on it.
• FMCSA data is sourced from public databases and may not reflect real-time changes.
• Financial calculations are estimates based on the data you provide. Consult a tax professional for official financial reporting.
• Compliance reminders are informational only. You are solely responsible for maintaining valid operating authority and documentation.

5. Intellectual Property

The HAULR App, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all data and documents you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to you within the App.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Supabase: Data storage and authentication
• Anthropic Claude: AI document analysis
• FMCSA SAFER: DOT number verification
• Gmail / Outlook: Email sync (when connected by you)
• Expo: Push notifications and app updates

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep HAULR available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HAULR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
